Broad arms carved with tasseled masks at back formed of broad leather strap. Bust in relief at sides, masks on outer tips, rosettes inside. Shaped and scroll legs, molded boss at crossing, flat stretcher feet scrolled at tips.

Garbáty (b. 1880 - d. 1966), Schloss Alt-Döbern, Niederlausitz (Germany), New York, and East Norwalk, CT [see note 1]; 1960, gift of Mrs. Eugene L. Garbáty to the MFA.
