Painted paper continuous pleated leaf with views of Hangchow Lake near Shanghai. On the obverse is a lake with boats with buildings along shore, a fortress in the foreground, and mountains in the distance. The reverse also has a lake with figures around a pagoda. Ivory sticks and guard on a gold ground.

Original wood box with light blue figured silk lining and green paper over cardboard at ends, with an inscription on the bottom: “Médaille de Bronze. 1900. Expon. Univle. Paris.”
