DescriptionLeaf: skin recto, paper verso. Twelve elaborately carved, silvered and gilded sticks with figures playing musical instruments. Paper leaf painted showing a banquet scene ("Alliance Between Bacchus and Venus"), with nymphs, cherubs, etc. On reverse, landscape with woman holding vase. Guard backed with gold foil, diamond paste at rivet.
