Continuous pleated leaf folding fan painted on the obverse with two figures in a garden surrounded by pink flowering trees and purple grapes on a silver ground. On the reverse is a group of three red flowers on a silver ground. Sticks are bone and pierced to create geometric patterning. The guard has carved and pierced work displaying floral motifs.
