DescriptionCarved ivory stick and finial. Cover of black bobbin lace, design of flowers radiating from finial, separated from outside border of flowers by a scalloped line. Separate piece of lace with pattern of vertical branches is sewn to edge of cover. Cover lined in 2 layers: black satin directly under the lace, and taffeta of yellow-green warp and pinkish weft covering the fittings on interior. Black silk tassel on handle.
