DescriptionLarge roundels of two types in alternating repeat. 1) conventionalized grape vine frame enclosing symmetrically arranged paired acanthus leaves, 2) laurel leaf frame enclosing cross. Design in bright red and blue silk and gold metal thread against background of gold colored silk. All brocading threads, covering entire surface of fabric, tied down in twill.
