DescriptionWarp: light brown cotton, 10 to cm. Weft: wool and a little cotton. Design: lozenges connected vertically, each bearing a conventionalized bird. The birds are woven with yellow wool in several shades, the lozenge frame is dark yellow, the background of the lozenges yellow and two shades of crimson, running in diagonal bands. The birds' eyes are white cotton outlined with crimson wool. Across the top is a band of interlocking fret motifs woven with yellow and crimson wool and white cotton. Edged with a fringe of yellow wool.
