DescriptionThree stripes and a medallion. Warp of linen; ground of plum-colored wool; design of natural-colored linen; woven into a piece of natural-colored linen. Medallion is in the shape of a lozenge that encloses four vine leaves. Two stripes show a design of interlocked cables and the middle stripe shows an undulating line with leaf-like motifs (?). Design shows Roman influence.
