Ground of natural-colored linen, with a round medallion of dark green wool of looped weaving. Called “Kaunakès” by Miss Edwards.

Provenance

Discovered in 1888 by W. M. F. Petrie in the Greco-Egyptian cemetery of Hawara in the Fayûm. . "The interments in this cemetery were from 400 B.C- 150 A.D." Amelia B. Edwards.
