DescriptionWarp of linen; ground of brown wool; an L-shaped tapestry with a design of connected diamonds, each enclosing a cross. A mermaid (?) is in the middle of the vertical part of the tapestry; in red wool and natural-colored linen. Smaller connected diamond motifs are repeated at the end and the moddle of the tapestry. Design shows Byzantine influence.
