Two dark brown tapestry bands inwoven into a natural colored linen. The design on each band consists of roundels connected by interlaced cables. Each roundel encloses a rosette and is framed by a border with repeated disc motifs. The shape of the parallel bands suggests that this may be a fragment of a garment, probably a sleeve band. The interlaced designs resemble motifs in late Roman and early Christian mosaics.
