DescriptionThe stone is fine and coarse-grained and red veined. It is heavy. The base is missing, and the rim is plain. It is broken and mended. Only half of the bowl remains.
ProvenanceFrom Zawyet el-Aryan. 1911: excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Egypt.
