Ground: entirely perished. Cream linen cloth is sewed to right of piece. Warps: cream linen. Design: red and yellow silk tapestry. Series of broad bands (.1 to .11 wide) with guilloche enclosing rabbit or duck on red ovals. Bands are separated, in center, by rows of debased Kufic (.02 high) in yellow on red; and above and below by rows of debased Naskh (.015 high) in red on yellow. Stained: full of holes. Inscriptions (both Naskh and Kufic very debased): “Victory from God” (repeated). See not on 15.764.
