Ground: cream linen cloth, almost entirely cut away. At left is plain selvedge. Design: tapestry band of pink, green, blue, black, and yellow silk and cream linen. Ovals containing stars(on green or blue ground) and rabbits (on pink ground) are arranged alternately. Interstices filled with angular scrolls. At top and bottom (affronted) is a narrow border on pink silk ground with imitation Kufic inscription (.01 high) in cream linen, spaces filled with irregular ovals. Above and below border is narrow blue silk stripe (.003 wide). Made up of several pieces mounted together.
