Ground: gray-green linen. Design: two silk tapestry bands (.01 apart), each with a row of small alternating red and blue medallions (.01 high) framed with the constrasting color. Interstices filled with black scrolls on green ground. At top and bottom (addorsed) of upper band is formal Kufic inscription (.013 high) in green on light blue ground: decorated with yellow stems. Very worn and ragged. Inscription: undeciphered.
