DescriptionWarp of linen; ground of natural colored linen; with a design of red, orange and white wool. Design consists of a row of disconnected spade-like leaf motifs and half leaves at the border of the band; small square motifs surround the leaves. The ground of the border is red wool with small outlined circular and square motifs. Probably a fragment of a shoulder band. Design shows Byzantine influence.
