DescriptionWarp of linen; ground of green wool with a design of human figures and plants flanked by branches with leaves; a narrow band in the middle divides the design which consists of similar but inverted motifs; woven with red, light and dark green, blue, brown, and pink wool and natural-colored linen; probably a sleeve band. Design shows Byzantine influence.
