Fragment of a woman’s hair net made of knotted linen thread. From the mummy of a woman discovered by W. M. T. Petrie in the Greco-Egyptian Cemetery of Hawara, in the Fayûm in 1888. “The interments in this Cemetery were made from 400 B.C. to A.D. 150. This piece dates probably from 200 B.C. to A.D. 150.” Donor.
