Fragment, irregular shape. Pale gray-blue ground, patterned with white, pink and plum silks, and brocaded with palin and frisé, silver yarns. Complex “lace” pattern, strictly symmetrical, showing conventionalized blossoms, buds, pods, pointed leaves and pineapple-like forms. Complete selvedge along longer side: six white cords; red wefts. Faded, stained; silver tarnished. Two small holes.
