Two fragments; white satin ground fabric with background design of narrow vertical stripes horizontally ribbed and diagonal small-scale flowering branches (ribbed stripes formed by extra white silk warp, flowering branches by extra white silk weft); over regularly spaced wide white satin stripes a small-scale serpentine with berries and quatrefoil blossoms, over ribbed area, sprays of roses; rose sprays and serpentines brocaded with green, pink, red, black and purple silks; right selvedge present on (a).
