Plain natural-colored linen fabric, with looped fringe on one end, one red thread woven in. Discovered in 1888 by W.M.F. Petrie in the Greco-Egyptian cemetery of Hawara in the Fayûm. . “The interments in this cemetery were from 400 B.C- 150 A.D.” Amelia B. Edwards.
