Warp of linen; ground of blue wool; woven with yellow, red and blue wool and natural colored linen; ground of border is of red wool; design of a human head (?) in the center surrounded by four lozenges formed by disconnected small rectangular motifs, an animal is inside each of two lozenges and a leaf is inside each of the other two; four half leaves border the frame which encloses a scrolled branch with leaves on both sides. From Akhmîm. Central motifs are similar to those in 01.8347.
