Fragment of Noh theater costume (atsuita) with design of squares with alternating vertical and horizontal stripes in greens, browns, blue, and white silk discontinuous supplementary patterning wefts in the upper field and two crests (mon) in reddish-orange, white, blue and green silk discontinuous supplementary patterning wefts on a reddish-orange silk twill ground in the lower field.
