DescriptionFragment of robe (kosode) with design of cherry tree branches in light reddish-orange and sash (?) in indigo blue tie resist-dyed (shibori) spot pattern; cherry blossoms embroidered with light reddish-orange silk and couched with gold-wrapped thread, with some blossoms dyed in dark indigo blue, on a natural ecru silk damask ground with woven interlocking swastika pattern (manji tsunagi).
