Fragment of kosode of brown silk damask ground with double rows of tie-dye running vertically and horizontally forming squares inside which are stenciled designs in gold leaf of flowers, trees and leaves; some of the squares contain birds, flowers or trees embroidered in green, cream, tan, purple and salmon silk satin stitch.
