Fragment. Part of a tapestry ornament of fine texture, woven into undyed linen tabby-woven ground, part of which remains along one side. Tapestry wefts of brownish violet and yellow-orange wool and undyed linen. Four distinct bands show an undulating leafy vine, an undulating line and discs, strapwork and a repeat of the second. Colors and style of design are similar to those in 55.1032. Holes; frayed.
