DescriptionFragment. Tapestry band, curved at one end, applied to undyed linen tabby-woven ground. Polychrome wool and undyed linen wefts. Central area shows a row of three disconnected floral motifs and a floating putto extending its arms with an indistinct object. Design is in dark and light green, and brown wool and undyed linen; the outer border is red and green chevrons. The curved end of the tapestry suggests that it may be a fragment of a shoulder band. Holes; breaks, stains.
