DescriptionFragment. Part of a tapestry ornament, applied to undyed linen tabby-woven ground. Polychrome wool and undyed linen wefts. Part of a roundel on a red ground. Remains of a representation of a human figure in one corner outside the roundel, stars, heart-shaped petals and half rosette, in red, light and dark green and yellow wool and undyed linen. Triple border on roundel, pattern indistinct. Most of the wool rotted out. Holes, stains; ragged edges. Design similar to 55.1045.
