Very fine undyed linen tabby-woven ground with inwoven tapestry band using white, red, yellow-green, blue, black and gold silk yarns. Wide inner band shows row of overlapping lozenges decorated with small motifs. Narrower outer bands show single leaves between repeating kufic characters. Narrow blue outer borders. Large brown stain; holes, ragged edges. Gold wire worn off silk core
