Warp of linen, ground of deep blue wool; design of red, white, green, orange and brown wool; red braided wool cord and band at the edge of cloth. The design consists of a central roundel framing a tree flanked by two hares; surrounding the medallion are hares, lions, a putto holding a basket and another holding a bird. The design shows Byzantine influence. From Akhmim.
