Warp of linen, ground of the medallion and stripe, which are woven into a piece of natural-colored linen cloth are of red wool. In the middle of the square is an eight-pointed star with a circle and a duck in the center. This and the row of different separate forms in the band, including small circles and rosettes, are woven with natural-colored linen and red, blue, yellow, and green wool. The combination of the band with the square panel suggests that this may be a fragment of a tunic. Design shows Byzantine influence.
