DescriptionFragmentary relief of Kastor and his horse. Grayish color on background; traces of flesh color on body of Kastor. Missing: head of horse, left foreleg, and hind quarters; the head, shoulders, both feet, and right arm of Kastor.
ProvenanceBy 1901: with E. P. Warren (according to Warren's records: Bought at Taranto. I believe it came from a sanctuary . . .about a mile & a half or two miles along the road eastwards from the modern canal.); purchased by MFA from E. P. Warren, December 1901
