Large low-fired deep redware bowl- in three pieces complete with wear at the rim and the interior base. The interior and exterior are burnished both horizontally and vertically and at one place the exterior surface is marked by a series of repeating “gouges” from burnishing, smoothing, or use-wear.

From Egypt, Gerf Husein (Mediq), ASN79/34/1. 1908: excavated by Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition for the Archaeological Survey of Nubia; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the Egyptian government.
