DescriptionGravel sized chunks of colored glass; dark blue with gilt, transparent greenish-blue, orange paste, black or dark blue and yellow millefiore.
Also some small bits of faience beads and burned wood. Wrapped in linen separately- small bits of gold foil.
ProvenanceFrom Nubia, Meroe (Beg. N.), Tomb 22. 1922: excavated by the Harvard University-Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA by the government of the Sudan.
