DescriptionSix small irregular fragments of thin flat iron plate. One with a short round-headed iron nail piercing it and held in place by oxide. Probably from the decoration of a box.
ProvenanceFrom Meroe (Beg. West) Pyr. 145, 1921: Excavated by the Harvard University-Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA by the government of Sudan.
