DescriptionCircular uniface medal of Francesco IV Gonzaga, duke of Mantua. Beaded rim and pierced at top. Profile bust of Francesco looking to proper left, wearing armor, a high ruffled collar, and a badge of the Order of the Precious Blood of our Saviour; inscribed at edge "FRAN·III·D·G·DVX·MANTV·MONT·FER·III·AN·I·AET·XXVI·" and under bust "G·DVPRE·F·1612".
