DescriptionCircular medal of Francis II, king of France and Scotland, commemorating the Peace of Edinburgh of 1560. Both faces beaded.
Obverse: Profile bust of Francis looking to proper right, wearing laureate wreath; inscribed at edge "FRANCISC·II·D·G·FRANC·ET·SCOT·REX".
Reverse: Crown over an "F", flanked by two cornucopias tied together at bottome, out of which a bust of Mary comes at proper right and a bust of Francois at proper left; inscribed above "ABVNDANTIA PVBLICA GALLIAR", below "1560", and in exergue "PAX CVM ANCLIS".
