DescriptionCircular medal of Friedrich III (1831-1888), kaiser of Germany, with hanging loop attached at top. Beaded rim on both faces.

Obverse: Profile bust of Friedrich looking to proper left; inscribed at edge "FRIEDRICH DEUTSCH.KAISER".

Reverse: Inscribed at center "LERNE/LEIDEN/OHNE/ZU KLAGEN/[signature of Friedrich?]".
