DescriptionWhite satin, the design of conventional flower and geometrical forms, is worked with white silk and cord and stripes of silver. The panels of embroidery are cut in scallops, on one side the scallops are edged with silver gallon. The shape of the panels and arrangement of the decoration suggest that these pieces may have been made for bull-fighters' trousers rather than for a womans' skirt.
