DescriptionAlso see 65.1820-39.The shallow stand has sloping sides and an undulating rim. Irregularly shaped white circles outlined in gold and painted with red dots are reserved on a blue (blue Fallot) ground, which is decorated with circles of gilt dots (fond Taillandier). The shaped reserves are painted with mixed flowers and are framed by tooled and burnished gilt bands. The inner rim is gilded; a gild dentil band decorates the outer rim.
Marks interlaced Ls enclosing date letter O, painter's mark ca (partially abraded) below, in blue enamel; incised mark.
