DescriptionOne of sixteen faience funerary necklaces found together, this necklace is composed of a string of faience cylinder beads with a large, blue-green faience menat amulet. The menat amulet is broken off at the middle.
ProvenanceFrom el-Kurru, pyramid 5 (tomb of queen Qalhata). 1919: excavated by the Harvard University-Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA by the government of the Sudan.
