Brown and green striped silk taffeta, cut flat and square except for slope at shoulders, without separate sleeves. Small, rounded neck opened in front to waist; this area, as well as shoulder line, cuffs and center front line, all ornamented with bands of brown and cream silk needle-weaving or knitting and small quilted areas. Openings faced with pale blue silk taffeta. Brown and cream silk pompoms at tips of shoulders and corners of short slit at front center hem. A number of yellow and brown stains.
