DescriptionRectangular medal of Georges Gagneau, in low relief.

Obverse: Bust of Gagneau looking to proper left, inset into a circle at upper proper right corner; three scenes of bronze founding: liquid bronze being poured into molds (upper proper left), chasing of the surface of a bronze vessel (middle), and polishing and finishing of a vessel (lower proper right); inscribed at bottom "F. LEVILLAIN" and in inset circle "GEORGES GAGNEAU".

Reverse: Framed by two branches of ivy; inscribed at center "REUNION/DES/FABRICANTS/DE/BRONZES/A/GEORGES/GAGNEAU/PRESIDENT/DE/1885 A 1900".
