DescriptionGirl's dress in three parts, made of cream colored heavy slightly ribbed silk; (a) fitted bodice, sleeveless, wide round neck; skirt plain in center front with some fullness in deep pleats at sides and most of fullness in gathers at back, buttoned down back, bottom of skirt and attached bertha collar trimmd with pleated ruching and zig-zag bands of deep coral red silk; bodice lined with white taffeta; skirt lined with stiffened silk plain weave, pocket in right front of skirt, watch pocket in waist band left front; (b) a peplum over skirt, made in five panels trimmed in same way as dress with panels attached to each other by red silk bows, panels lined with white taffeta; (c) belt with large attached ornamental bow for center back of dress made entirely of red silk.
