This black-topped redware jar is of globular shape with high-set shoulders and a rounded base. Its neck is short, and the rim is pulled outward, flattened somewhat with a slight bevel.
From Kerma, Cemetery N, grave 153. 1916: excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of the Sudan.
