DescriptionThis jar, fashioned of blackware, is of globular shape with a short, concave neck and outwardly pulled bevelled rim. Along the top of the shoulder a band of incised vertical zigzag lines has been added.
ProvenanceFrom Gennari (West bank) (ASN 58/108) 1908. Excavated by Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition for the Archaeological Survey of Nubia; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the Egyptian government.
