This shouldered globular jar is made of a buff to reddish clay. Above the high-set shoulders the profile constricts to a concave neck before flaring to an outwardly pulled, slightly rolled rim. The base is rounded.
From Kerma, Cemetery N, grave 1310. 1916: excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of the Sudan.
