This squat, almost symmetrical jar has a rounded base, no neck, and a rolled rim. The exteriod surface retains traces of a reddish-brown slip with signs of burnishing.
From Kerma, Cemetery M, grave 3. 1915: excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of the Sudan.
