This squat black-topped jar carries has a rounded base, high shoulders, no neck, and a thick pulled rim. The jar was broken but has been mended, though sizable fragments are still missing.
From Kerma, Cemetery M, grave 57. 1915: excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of the Sudan.
