DescriptionThis globular jar has a rounded base and an almost straight profile, but for slight narrowing in the upper body that widens again to a straight, unworked rim.
ProvenanceFrom Kerma, Cemetery S, grave 1613 (found under object 1613/11). 1914: excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of the Sudan.
